The Reasons and Solutions for the Water Leakage of the Chiller

If there is water leakage in the chiller, it usually occurs at the water pipe and the connection of the water pipe. The reasons and solutions for the water leakage of the chiller:
1. The water inlet or outlet of the chiller leaks, usually caused by loose or broken bolts at the connection, and the user only needs to repair or replace it.
2. There is water leakage at the float valve of the chiller, and the float valve controls the switch of the water inlet valve according to the buoyancy. The solution is to check and adjust the position of the ball valve. If it is damaged, it needs to be replaced and repaired in time.
3. Water leakage from the evaporator shell of the chiller. The user should check whether there is water seepage at the welding part of the evaporator shell, and if so, it should be repaired by welding as soon as possible.
4. Water leakage occurred in the perforation of the condenser inside the chiller. The solution is to find this fault point and fix it.
5. Because the water tank of the chiller is too full, the cooling water fluctuates and leaks during operation. The solution is to lower the water level in the tank.
6. The water tank of the chiller is leaking, and there may be leakage at the welding position of the water tank. The solution is to re-weld the leaking position for the chiller manufacturer.
7. The water pump of the chiller is leaking. The cause may be that the shaft seal at the pump is not well connected or the shaft seal has been damaged. The solution is to replace the pump directly without replacing the shaft seal.
8. If the chiller is tilted for a long time, the valves and pipes of the chiller will be unevenly stressed, damaged, and cause water leakage. The chiller should be placed horizontally according to the specifications.
