What is the reason why the recirculating chiller cannot start?

1、 Power failure

When the LX -25°C ~ +30°C Recirculating Chillers cannot be started, first check whether the power connection is normal. It is possible that the power plug is not firmly inserted or inserted backwards. If the power connection is okay but still cannot start, it may be a power failure. It is recommended to replace or repair the power supply. Do not disassemble or repair it without permission to avoid electric shock.

2、 Heat exchanger issues

The heat exchanger is an important component of the circulating cooler, and if the heat exchanger fails, it can also cause the circulating cooler to fail to start. The blockage or corrosion of the heat exchanger can affect its normal operation, and even cause the circulating cooler to fail to start. It is recommended to regularly clean and maintain the heat exchanger to prevent problems from occurring.

3、 Valve malfunction

There are many valves in the circulating cooler, and if there is a malfunction, it can also cause the circulating cooler to fail to start. For example, expansion valves, solenoid valves, condenser valves, etc. If a valve malfunction is found, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.

4、 Circuit board failure

The circuit board of the circulating cooler is also a very important component, and if the circuit board malfunctions, it can also cause the circulating cooler to fail to start. It is recommended to regularly check whether the circuit board is normal. If there is a problem, it needs to be replaced or repaired in time.

Firstly, check the main circuit. Whether the power supply is powered on, whether the voltage is normal, whether the starting overload fuse is burned out, whether the air switch trips, whether the switch contacts are intact, and whether the power supply is out of phase. When starting, observe the Voltmeter and Ammeter. When the circulating cooler is not equipped with a Ammeter or Voltmeter, use a multimeter or measuring pen to check whether the power supply is normal. When the power supply voltage is too low, it will prevent the compressor from starting.

For the circulating cooler, check whether the connecting rod big end bearing shells and the crankshaft sleeve are locked together. This may be due to excessive exhaust temperature during previous operation, or due to coking of lubricating oil, which caused the cylinder to bond with the piston and prevented the compressor from starting.

Check the differential pressure relay and the high and low voltage relay. When the oil pressure of the compressor is abnormal, it can stop the compressor from running. At the same time, when the discharge pressure and suction pressure of the compressor are abnormal, it cannot be started or the compressor quickly stops running after starting.

Check whether the chilled water volume, cooling water volume and water temperature are normal. If the water volume is small and the water temperature is high, it will cause a sharp increase in condensation pressure and a rapid decrease in evaporation temperature. Due to the protection facilities of the unit, it often causes rapid shutdown.
