1 The three-phase power supply of the power supply system is out of phase. The common power supply of chillers is 3-phase, 380V, 50HZ. If the power supply line is damaged, or the junction of the switch and the cable is loosened, and the contact failure of the switch itself, it will cause a phase loss. In particular, the failure of the switch itself is relatively common, and this kind of failure can be checked out with a multimeter.
2 The parameter setting of the switch of the power supply system does not meet the requirements. After eliminating the quality problem of the switch, if the chiller still trips when it starts, then we need to check the parameter settings. If the allowable operating current of the switch is less than the starting current, there will definitely be a tripping phenomenon. If the short-time delay current parameter is set too low, the chiller will also trip under the influence of inrush current when it rotates at low speed and high speed. Therefore, when overhauling, be sure to check the switch parameters and adjust them to an appropriate state, and protect the switch parameter settings to prevent others from making mistakes.
3 The power supply three-phase output quality of the power supply system. For example, if the three-phase power supply voltage is insufficient or the output is unbalanced, the relay will disconnect the voltage or start the protection action, resulting in the shutdown of the chiller. Such problems are generally caused by the failure of the power supply equipment or the heavy line load.
