What is the cause of cooler condenser leakage?

(1) External force damage:

Due to the external force during the transportation and installation of the condenser, the exposed steel plate shell is often damaged, causing cracks or other damages to the shell. The shell may be small at the initial stage and difficult to detect, but it will slowly expand after a period of use, causing leakage.

(2) Wear corrosion:

Some FL +5°C ~ +35°C Water Chillers have been used for many years, and the steel pipe wall is damaged by the abrasion of impurities in the cooling water and corrosion of materials.

In addition, in order to remove scale, dirt, rust, etc., 1~2 times of cleaning is required every year, which also causes certain damage to the pipe wall and shell. In addition, hard objects such as sand contained in the primary water will also cause wear to the pipe wall.

1. What is the cooler condenser?

It is a component of the refrigeration system and belongs to a kind of heat exchanger. It can convert gas or steam into liquid and transfer the heat in the pipe to the air near the pipe in a fast way. The working process of the condenser is an exothermic process, so the temperature of the condenser is high.

2. What is the principle of cooler condenser?

The gas passes through a long pipe (usually coiled into a solenoid) to let the heat escape into the surrounding air. Metals such as copper have strong thermal conductivity and are often used to transport steam.

In order to improve the efficiency of the condenser, heat sinks with excellent heat conduction performance are often attached to the pipes to increase the heat dissipation area to accelerate heat dissipation, and air convection is accelerated through the fan to take away heat.

In the circulating system of the refrigerator, the compressor sucks refrigerant steam of low temperature and low pressure from the evaporator, which is adiabatic compressed by the compressor into superheated steam of high temperature and high pressure, and then pressed into the condenser for constant pressure cooling, releasing heat to the cooling medium, and then cooling into supercooled liquid refrigerant.

The liquid refrigerant is adiabatic throttled by the expansion valve to become a low-pressure liquid refrigerant.

It evaporates in the evaporator to absorb the heat in the circulating water (air) of the air conditioner, so as to cool the circulating water of the air conditioner for refrigeration. The refrigerant flowing out of the low-pressure is sucked into the compressor, and so on.

3. How to use the cooler condenser?

(1) Release the vent plugs at the hot and cold media ends and close the media discharge valve;

(2) Slowly open the inlet valves of hot and cold media to stop the hot and cold media overflowing from the vent hole, then tighten the vent plug and close the inlet valve.
