How to conduct safety testing for a 200 ton chiller?

1. Regularly inspect the compressor

The compressor is the “heart” of industrial chillers, and its quality directly affects the stability of the chiller during use. The necessary acceptance tests for the LC -25°C ~ -5°C Low Temperature Chillers should be carried out in accordance with the principle of first air tightness test, then vacuum test, first sub item test, and then overall test.

2. Regularly clean the condenser and evaporator

In addition to checking the technical performance of the 200 ton chiller unit, attention should also be paid to protecting the clean appearance of the unit and the cleanliness and hygiene of the work site.

3. Regular inspection of instruments

The temperature control meter is out of control, and the replacement of the temperature control meter has a high voltage fault. The heat dissipation is poor, the radiator is too dirty, and the cleaning of the radiator is not good.

The ventilation conditions are improved, and the heat dissipation fan is not working. Check whether the fan motor is burned, short circuited, repaired or replaced. If the high voltage engine of the motor is damaged, replace the high voltage engine.

When using a 200 ton chiller, it is necessary to test the pressure values of the outlet and return water, and then check the manual to see what the water flow rate is under normal conditions to determine whether the refrigeration system is normal.

It is possible to determine which section of the water pipe has a higher resistance value and make corresponding adjustment plans and actions.

During operation, the 200 ton chiller can compare the current in the water pump with the rated current of the chiller itself, which can determine whether the current is high or low, and can detect the operating status of the water system at any time.

4. Inspection workflow of chiller unit:

Check if the pump steering is correct.

Separate the compressor from the motor to determine if the motor is turning correctly.

When compressor oil is added to the chiller, the oil should be kept at 1/2/3/4 of the apparent oil level, and should not be filled in the area where compressor oil is added to the chiller.

Check whether the differential pressure relay on the suction side and filter, the pressure relay on the exhaust side, the pressure of oil pressure and cooling water, and the operation of the oil pressure relay and oil pressure relay are sensitive.

Install the coupling and make corrections.

Inject refrigerant (usually R22) into the system as required.
