Glass Reactor Temperature Control Systems

 

Glass reactor is a kind of experimental equipment widely used in the fields of chemical reaction, physical reaction and biological reaction. It is used to study the preparation of new materials, biochemical reaction, catalytic reaction, etc. It has the advantages of fast reaction speed, controllable reaction process, easy adjustment of reaction conditions, etc., and can produce reactants continuously and on a large scale.

Glass reactor can directly heat or cool the reaction materials through the temperature control system to control the temperature of the materials in the reactor. The temperature control system is one of the key equipment for temperature control of glass reactor. Choosing a suitable device can improve the accuracy and stability of temperature control. Commonly used temperature control systems are as follows:

1. Electric heating jacket. Electric heating jacket is mostly used for heating single-layer glass reactor. It has the advantages of fast heating speed and accurate temperature control, but it consumes more electricity. However, for larger reactors, the heating effect is not uniform enough.

2. High temperature circulating oil bath. High temperature circulating oil bath can be used for single-layer glass reactor and double-layer glass reactor. The single-layer glass reactor is to place the reactor body in a heated oil bath pot, and heat the reactor through the heat conduction of the oil. This method heats evenly and is also suitable for large reactors, but the heating speed is slow and the heat transfer oil needs to be replaced regularly. The double-layer glass reactor is to transport the oil in the oil bath pot to the interlayer of the reactor body by circulation, and control the temperature of the material inside by heat exchange. It has the advantages of fast heating, uniform temperature, and high temperature control accuracy.

3. Closed constant pressure high and low temperature circulation tank. The closed constant pressure high and low temperature circulation tank is suitable for the temperature control of high temperature reaction of the double-layer glass reactor. It not only has the temperature control advantages of the oil bath pot, but also can improve the service life of the heat transfer oil, with high temperature control accuracy, and is equipped with over-temperature stop heating and oil shortage stop heating protection. The unique patented constant pressure system ensures that the pressure is less than 0.3 kg at any time, and does not generate any negative pressure to protect the safety of the reactor body. It has the characteristics of safety, no oil smoke, no odor, and small size.

4. Closed constant pressure refrigeration and heating system. The closed constant pressure refrigeration and heating system is also one of the most commonly used temperature control equipment for double-layer glass reactors. It integrates circulation, cooling, heating and constant temperature. Its unique constant pressure system and fully enclosed pipeline design can control the temperature of the glass reactor more accurately than other equipment. It can quickly heat up and cool down, and has a variety of safety protection devices, such as delay, overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage protection, etc. It has a wide temperature control range, is safe and reliable, and is energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
