Today we briefly talk about the three most commonly used areas of screw chillers.
1. Air-conditioning engineering
Air-conditioning engineering is a broad field of refrigeration applications. Optical instruments and meters, precision measuring tools, computer rooms, etc., they need to control the humidity, temperature, and cleanliness of the environment to varying degrees. There are also various public buildings such as gymnasiums, great halls, hotels, shopping malls, or vehicles such as cars, airplanes, and large buses. They also need comfortable air-conditioning systems. These require screw chillers to provide a steady stream of low-temperature chilled water. , so as to ensure that the air conditioning system is in normal operation and provide the necessary constant temperature and humidity environment for the production environment. 2. Food Engineering
For perishable food, it is necessary to maintain a stable low-temperature environment in the entire circulation process from procurement or fishing, processing, storage, transportation to sales, in order to prolong or improve the quality, economic life and value of food. This requires various refrigeration facilities, such as cold processing equipment, refrigerated storage, refrigerated transport vehicles or ships, refrigerated sales counters, etc. Most foods are perishable, and food production has strong seasonal and regional characteristics. So far, refrigeration is considered to be the best method for processing and storing food, and the food industry is the earliest sector that uses refrigeration the most.
3. Mechanical and Metallurgical Industry
For the oil pressure system of precision machine tools, refrigeration must be used to control the oil temperature, so as to stabilize the viscosity of the oil film, so that the machine tool can work normally; if it is applied to steel products, the steel can be treated at low temperature to improve the performance of the steel and increase the hardness of the steel And strength, prolong the service life of the workpiece. For example, steelmaking must have enough oxygen, and oxygen must be obtained from the air through cryogenic separation. In addition, when assembling the machine, the use of low temperature for the interference fit of parts and components requires refrigeration technology.
Of course, screw chillers are used in far more than the above three fields.
