The first point: the site of the chiller room

The foundation is where the foundation lies. Therefore, the first thing we need to determine is the installation location, and we must choose a stable and open place. And it is an independent building of a machine room to avoid sharing space with other equipment, especially for high-power screw chillers, the installation site should ensure that it will not be exposed to sunlight or rain, and to avoid pollution and corrosion. After the equipment is installed, enough space can be left to maintain air circulation, which is convenient for later maintenance.

The second point: the power supply and water source of the chiller

The main function of the chiller is refrigeration, providing low-temperature process chilled water to the cooled equipment. Power and water sources must be considered. Before installation, be sure to run the electricity strictly according to the power supply on the nameplate, and ensure that the voltage and current are stable. To meet the electricity standards of the chiller refrigeration system, especially the power load and grounding parts, must be constructed in accordance with relevant regulations.

It is necessary to use pipes to connect the water source to the chiller. Please configure the piping according to the size of the chiller’s throat. Do not reduce or expand the size of the water pipe, so as to avoid high pressure overload or insufficient water circulation, which will cause the equipment to fail to operate normally. Whether it is wiring or piping, it must be properly designed and fixed. Especially the pipeline, the unreasonable arrangement will directly affect the cooling water flow. In addition, the chilled water pipeline of the chiller must remember to pack insulation!

The third point: the stability and vibration reduction of the chiller

We require that the installation of the chiller must ensure that the ground is flat and stable. The equipment will have a certain amplitude during operation, and the vibration will not only generate noise, but also cause displacement of the chiller. Therefore, when installing the chiller, the factory can adopt vibration damping accessories to reduce noise and vibration, and the equipment must be tightened.
