The 15 ton chiller is a compressor based cooling system. The other major components of a chiller are the temperature controller, circulation pump, and water tank. Operation and setup are simple. Fill the reservoir with circulating fluid, usually water or a glycol/water mixture. The controller regulates the functions of the chiller.
Why use 15 ton chiller?

Chillers protect valuable processing equipment such as spot welders, injection molding equipment and other applications. Chillers are low-cost and can provide reliable protection 24 hours a day for many years to come.
Increase production
With constant and proper cooling temperatures maintained in the equipment, the speed and accuracy of production will increase. The chiller will reduce the number of defective parts while increasing the number of parts produced per hour.
15 ton chiller design
One chiller cannot control all heat loads. Some chillers are designed to cool to very low temperatures, while other chillers are only designed for mid-range applications. Some designs can support very high fluid flow rates, while other designs may only be suitable for small amounts of fluid. The same issue applies to ambient temperature. Some chillers use refrigerants suitable for high ambient temperature environments, while other refrigerants are formulated for cooler conditions.
The fluid being cooled must also be considered. Distilled or deionized water requires different conditions than tap water. Deionized and distilled water can cause the metals they come into contact to break down. In this case, the chiller is designed to use plastic or stainless steel, which eliminates the corrosive effects of the fluid.
