1. Regularly inspect the screw chiller compressor

The compressor is the “heart” of the screw chiller, and its quality directly affects the stability of the screw chiller in use. If the compressor fails to repair, the cost is relatively high, especially the screw compressor has high precision and high price. Therefore, if you hear abnormal sound from the compressor or other conditions, you must contact the screw chiller manufacturer, and find a professional engineer to check, find out the cause and carry out maintenance.

2. Regularly clean the screw chiller condenser and evaporator

The condenser/evaporator is the second most important component of the screw chiller, and it is best to clean it every six months. The cooling water of the water-cooled condenser is an open circulation loop. The tap water used is recycled through the cooling water tower, which is easy to decompose and deposit impurities on the water pipe to form scale, which affects the heat transfer effect. If the scale is too thick, the cooling water circulation section will be reduced, the water volume will be reduced, and the condensing pressure will increase. Therefore, when the quality of the tap water used is poor, it is best to clean it at least once a year to remove the scale in the pipe, and it is best to perform water treatment operations on the tap water.

3. Regular inspection of the safety valve of the screw chiller

The condenser and evaporator of the industrial screw chiller are pressure vessels. According to the regulations, a safety valve should be installed on the high-pressure end of the screw chiller, that is, the condenser body. Once the equipment is in an abnormal working environment, the safety valve It can automatically release pressure to prevent damage to the human body caused by high pressure.

4. Regularly replace the lubricating oil of screw chiller

After the screw chiller is used for a long time, the oil quality of the lubricating oil will deteriorate, and the impurities and moisture inside the oil will increase, so it is necessary to observe and check the oil quality regularly. Once a problem is found, it should be replaced in time, and the brand of lubricating oil to be replaced is best provided by the source manufacturer.

5. Regularly replace the filter drier of the screw chiller

The filter drier is an important part to ensure the normal circulation of the refrigerant. Since water and refrigerant are immiscible with each other, if the system contains moisture, it will greatly affect the operating efficiency of the screw chiller. Therefore, it is very important to keep the inside of the system dry, and the filter element inside the drying filter must be replaced regularly.
