Generally speaking, there are many low temperature chillers and normal temperature chillers. The normal temperature chillers are generally within 0°C to 30°C, and the low temperature chillers are generally around -150°C to 0°C. 1. Insufficient cooling water flow

This situation mostly occurs in the type of water-cooled chiller equipment, because the air-cooled chiller relies on the fan to dissipate heat by itself. The cooling water is mainly used to cool the chiller equipment, and it is usually circulated to the cooling tower for heat dissipation. If the high pressure of the chiller occurs, the reason may be that the water pump is damaged, the pressure of the cooling water pumped by the water pump is too low, the pipe of the filter is blocked, and so on. If the cooling water flow is insufficient, you should also check whether the pipes in the cooling water circulation system are broken and whether there is water leakage. This is the direct cause of insufficient cooling water flow, which can be identified and judged by the naked eye.

2. The cooling water temperature is too high, resulting in poor condensation effect

Especially for water-cooled chillers, its cooling water circulation system includes circulating water pumps, circulating water cooling water pipes, and cooling towers.

Any problem with any component in the system may cause the temperature of the cooling water to be too high and lead to the high pressure of the final equipment, which is mainly reflected in the failure of the cooling tower, the failure of the fan, and the water distributor.

3. Condenser scaling or blockage

As one of the four major refrigeration components of the chiller, the condenser usually affects the working effect of the condenser through the water quality of the condenser. For example, the water is mixed with dust impurities. It will cause the condenser to become dirty and clogged. Its heat exchange area becomes smaller and the efficiency becomes lower, which will affect the water flow. Generally, it can be treated by chemical cleaning and descaling.

4. Refrigerant problem

Refrigerant is the medium for refrigerant circulation in the refrigerant system. Too much refrigerant in the chiller will cause high suction and exhaust pressure and balance pressure.

5. False alarm caused by electrical fault

For example, the relay protector is wet, the contact is poor or damaged, the chip electronic board is damp or damaged, and the communication failure will also cause false alarms of electrical faults.

By manually measuring the operating current and discharge pressure of the compressor, both are within the normal range, which can indicate that the false alarm is caused by the electrical system.

Therefore, we must pay attention to measuring the various operating parameters of the chiller, and find and deal with the fault in time.
