1. Regularly check the compressor:

The compressor is the “heart” of the industrial chiller, and its quality directly affects the stability of the chiller when it is used. If the compressor fails to be repaired, the repair cost will be relatively high, especially for screw compressors. Therefore, in daily operation, if you hear abnormal sound from the compressor or other conditions, you should contact the chiller manufacturer in time to find a professional engineer to check, find out the cause and carry out maintenance.

2. Periodically clean the condenser and evaporator:

The condenser and evaporator are the second most important components of the chiller, and experts recommend cleaning it every six months. The cooling water of the water-cooled condenser is an open circulation loop. The tap water used is recycled through the cooling water tower, which is easy to decompose and deposit impurities on the water pipe to form scale, which affects the heat transfer effect. Over time, the scaling will be too thick and the cooling water circulation section will be reduced, resulting in a reduction in water volume and an increase in condensing pressure.

3. Regularly change the lubricating oil:

After the chiller is used for a long time, the oil quality of the lubricating oil will deteriorate, and the impurities and moisture inside the oil will increase, so it is necessary to observe and check the oil quality regularly. Once a problem is found, it should be replaced in time. The recommended replacement lubrication should be based on the original manufacturer.

4. Periodically replace the filter drier:

The filter drier is an important part to ensure the normal circulation of the refrigerant. Since water and refrigerant are immiscible with each other, if the system contains moisture, it will affect the operation efficiency of the chiller. Therefore, it is very important to keep the inside of the system dry. The filter element should be replaced regularly.
