Methods of Extending the Service Life of Screw Chillers

Several techniques to prolong the service life of screw chillers:

Replace the compressor lubricating oil according to the operating time of the screw chiller. The main functions of lubricating oil for compressors are lubrication, cooling and capacity adjustment. It is recommended that the screw chiller check the cleanliness of the lubricating oil every 10,000 hours of operation.

Develop rules and regulations for the cleaning and maintenance of screw chillers, and record each maintenance work. When cleaning the equipment, not only the appearance, but also the evaporator, condenser, pipeline, filter, cooling tower and fan of the screw chiller every year to avoid water scaling affecting the normal operation of the chiller.

When using screw chillers, operators should always pay attention to the use of the equipment. If the screw chiller has abnormal sound or any malfunction, we must shut it down in time to prevent the machine from being damaged again.

Perform troubleshooting according to the fault prompts in the control panel of the screw chiller. Remember not to start the chiller until troubleshooting.

The screw chiller operator should regularly record the data of the equipment during operation to facilitate future queries. After a long time of use, check the various components of the screw chiller to ensure that they can work normally. When the screw cold water does not need to run for a long time, the water and pipes inside the machine should be cleaned to avoid damage to the parts.
