How to Improve the Evaporator Efficiency when the Industrial Chiller is Running?

The main indicators to measure the industrial chiller evaporator are the heat transfer coefficient and the heat transfer surface. In order to improve the efficiency of the evaporator, its heat transfer coefficient should be improved first. Then the key to improving the heat transfer coefficient is to improve the convective heat transfer between the refrigerant and the heat transfer tube wall. Since the surface heat transfer coefficient when the refrigerant boils is much greater than the heat transfer coefficient between the vapor and the tube wall, the contact surface between the liquid and the tube wall in the evaporator must be large, and the vapor generated during boiling must be quickly discharged. In fact, it is more difficult to improve the heat transfer coefficient.

In terms of price, our chillers are still cost-effective. In terms of installation, industrial chillers need to be installed with cooling towers and external water pumps before they can be used. The chillers are removable, without occupying space or other assistance. The power supply can be used, but it only depends on the fan for heat dissipation, and there are certain requirements on the environment, such as ventilation, humidity, temperature not higher than 40°C, air pH and so on.

When the heat transfer coefficient is constant, the size of the heat transfer surface determines the evaporation capacity of the industrial chiller evaporator. Increasing the number of heat transfer tubes and using finned tubes can effectively increase the heat transfer surface, which is a common measure to improve evaporation capacity. Technically, the energy efficiency ratio of the chiller is as high as 300 to 500kcal/h.
