When a fault occurs, the enterprise needs to carefully check the operation status of each component of the equipment in time, and focus on the refrigeration system, power system, wind system, water system, etc., to determine whether it is operating normally. Below we’ll show you what to do when common system problems arise.

1. Refrigeration system: Observe whether the pipes of the air-cooled chiller refrigeration system are cracked, damaged or frosted; whether there is contact friction between the cooling pipes of the air-cooled chiller, the pipes and the shell, etc., especially the refrigerant Check whether there is oil leakage at the welding place of the pipeline and the seam of the air-cooled chiller, but there will be oil stains at the oil leakage place. You can use a clean soft cloth or soft paper to scrub the welding place of the pipeline and the joint seam, and investigate the oil leakage. to determine if there is an oil leak.

2. Power system: Check whether the power system of the air-cooled chiller has a fuse, whether the insulation of the power line is intact, whether the circuit board is cracked, whether the connection is loose, etc. In particular, the electrical connection is not protruding from the touch screen, and the wiring screws and plugs are easy to loosen and the touch screen is not good.

3. Ventilation system: check whether the air filter, heat exchanger coil and fins of the air-cooled chiller have too much dust; whether the air inlet and outlet are dredged; whether the fan and fan blades work normally; whether the air volume is normal; Whether the water system is normal, etc.

4. Water system: Check whether there is water leakage in the water system of the air-cooled chiller; whether the inlet and outlet are unblocked; whether the water pump is running normally. After the power is turned on, carefully listen to whether the working sound of the air-cooled chiller compressor is normal, whether there is any abnormal sound, whether the fan and water pump are working, whether the noise is too loud, etc. When the air-cooled chiller is working, the vibration is generally weak and the noise is small.

In addition to the above-mentioned system inspections, touching the relevant parts of the air-cooled chiller with your hands to feel its hot, cold, vibrating and other states is helpful for judging the fault location. In general, the capacitor temperature gradually decreases from top to bottom, and the lower temperature is slightly higher than the ambient temperature. If all the condensers do not heat up, or there is slight heat in the upper part, or the temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the adjacent two pipelines is large, it is an abnormal phenomenon. Under normal circumstances, if you put your finger wet with water on the surface of the evaporator, there will be an ice sticky feeling. Cooling water equipment, dryers, and outlet capillaries should have a warm feeling under normal conditions, such as feeling lower than the ambient temperature, dew condensation on the surface, and temperature difference in each section of the capillary.
