Basic Pressure Regulation Method of Condenser of Low Temperature Chiller

 

During the operation of the low temperature chiller, the change of temperature will cause the change of condensing pressure. Especially in summer, the high condensing pressure of the low-temperature chiller will lead to the continuous increase of the power consumption of the compressor, resulting in a gradual decrease in the cooling capacity, and indirectly deteriorating the circulation of the low-temperature chiller. It is necessary to properly reduce the condensing pressure.

Then, the condensing pressure of the low-temperature chiller is too low, the liquid supply power of the throttle valve is not sufficient, and the high-pressure liquid pipe is continuously affected by heating factors, and they will all reduce the capacity of the throttle valve, so it is necessary to control the condensing pressure of the low-temperature chiller. Therefore, it is imperative to control the condensing pressure throughout the year. The pressure of the condenser can be controlled by adjusting the heat exchange capacity of the condenser. When the heat transfer of the condenser increases, the gas discharged from the compressor (scroll\piston) can be fully condensed, and the condensation pressure will gradually decrease; if the heat transfer performance of the condenser is weakened, the condensation pressure will continue to rise.

The condenser of the low-temperature chilled water machine can adjust the cooling water flow to control the condensing pressure. Install a regulating valve on the cooling water outlet pipe of the condenser. There are two modes of the water volume regulating valve: one is a temperature-type water volume regulating valve that uses the temperature at the cooling water outlet of the condenser to send a signal indirectly. It has a temperature sensing bag, which is inserted into the condensate outlet. When the water temperature rises, the valve opens larger; when the water temperature decreases, the valve closes smaller. The other is a pressure-type water regulating valve that sends a signal directly with the condensing pressure, and the pressure signal is drawn from the condenser. When the condensing pressure gradually rises, the valve opens larger; when the condensing pressure decreases, the valve closes smaller, thereby changing the cooling water flow of the condenser.

The condenser of the low-temperature chiller adopts the self-installed cooling tower cooling water circulation system. In order to prevent the condensation pressure from being too low, it can be adjusted by the water bypass valve. It makes part of the water from the condenser sent to the cooling tower for cooling, and the other part returns to the cooling tower. Bypass back to the water inlet. For large-scale low-temperature and low-temperature water chillers, if multiple cooling water pumps are used in parallel to supply water to the water condenser, the number of pumps can be changed according to the continuous change of the condensing pressure to adjust the flow of cooling water. Therefore, the condensing pressure of the low-temperature and low-temperature water chiller control is very necessary.
