There are more and more buyers of air-cooled industrial chillers. After purchasing, many people find that the service life of air-cooled industrial chillers is greatly reduced. Therefore, management and maintenance personnel must have certain professional knowledge and skills in order to manage the air-cooled chiller well.

If the air-cooled industrial chiller system is properly maintained, it can effectively improve the efficiency of use, reduce failures, prolong the service life of the equipment, and greatly reduce operating costs.

In daily life, maintaining the chiller is a protective method to prolong its service life. Here are some simple steps to prolong the life of your air-cooled industrial chiller.

1. Regularly clean the air conditioner dust filter

Generally, it is cleaned once every 2-3 weeks. When cleaning, take out the filter screen and use a dry soft brush to remove the dust on the filter screen. Clean the dust on the filter with clean water. After drying, put it in the air conditioner for use.

2. Check air conditioner plug socket

Users should always check whether the power plug and socket of the air conditioner are in good contact. When the air-cooled industrial chiller is running, if it is found that the power outlet or the plug is hot, the reason may be that the wire is too thin or the plug is in poor contact with the socket, and measures should be taken to solve the problem.

3. Long downtime

When the air-cooled industrial chiller needs to be shut down for a long time, it should be thoroughly cleaned. When you’re done washing, simply turn on the fan and run it for 2-3 hours to air dry the interior.

4. Frequently clean the dust on the panel and frame

Usually we wipe with a dry cloth. Wipe it clean first, then wipe off the detergent with a clean water damp cloth. It is forbidden to use hot water, gasoline, volatile oil and corrosive solvents above 40°C to wipe the panel and casing of the air conditioner. Avoid using a hard-bristled brush to brush the air conditioner, so as not to damage the shell, causing paint peeling, fading, etc.

5. Regularly clean the condenser and evaporator coils of air-cooled industrial chillers

Brushes and vacuum cleaners can be used. Remind everyone that when cleaning, the brush and vacuum cleaner should be cleaned along the vertical direction of the coil, not along the horizontal direction, so as to avoid damage to the fins of the coil.
