What is the treatment method for damaged load of air cooled water chiller?

Excessive suction pressure: Excessive refrigerant and heat load. Improper operation of the expansion valve can cause excessive suction pressure.

The solution to this problem is to discharge excess refrigerant, reduce the amount of chilled water, reduce the heat load, and readjust the opening of the expansion valve.

Low suction pressure: At this point, the cause of the malfunction of the LC -25°C ~ -5°C Low Temperature Chillers may be insufficient refrigerant, too small opening of the expansion valve, and blockage of equipment pipelines in the water system. It is recommended to check for leaks, replenish the refrigerant after repair, and adjust or replace the expansion valve.


High noise during compressor operation: Check if the expansion valve is malfunctioning, the temperature bulb is detached from the compressor suction pipe, allowing the liquid refrigerant to return to the compressor. If damaged, repair it, and replace it if damaged.

Insufficient refrigeration capacity: The reasons for insufficient refrigeration capacity may include insufficient refrigerant, low evaporation temperature, poor pipeline cooling effect, poor heat dissipation of the unit condenser, and excessive resistance in the water circulation system.

If it has been determined that the compressor is damaged and completely unusable, we should replace it with a new one as follows:


1. Remove the drying filter and use a temporary detachable connecting pipe or copper pipe joint to connect the short circuit part;

2. Inject the cleaning agent into the Plumbing to clean and circulate. If necessary, replace the cleaning agent for multiple cleaning;

3. Blow dry the entire system with nitrogen gas at a pressure of 10kg/cm2 until there is no residual cleaning agent;

4. Install a good compressor and drying filter, and use nitrogen gas with a pressure of 10kg/cm2 to detect leakage. If there is no leakage, the remaining nitrogen can be discharged into the atmosphere through the high-pressure corner valve;


5. At the same time, vacuum the high and low voltage ends to 1000 micro, and then check all power supplies and electronic control systems;

6. Add liquid refrigerant and wait until the refrigerant content reaches 80%~90% before starting the machine for testing. Note: The compressor must be heated for 2 hours.

7. Replace the refrigerant oil of the compressor and observe the oil usage during compressor operation.
