What is the reason why the 1 ton chiller cannot produce water after installation?
1.The rotation speed of the water pump of the LC -25°C ~ -5°C Low Temperature Chillers is too low.
Mechanical failure of the pump itself The fastening nut between the impeller and the pump shaft is loose or the pump shaft is deformed and bent, resulting in excessive displacement of the impeller, direct friction with the pump body, or bearing damage, which may reduce the speed of the pump.
2. Human factors.
Some users randomly equipped another motor to drive because the original motor was damaged, resulting in low flow and head and even no water supply.
3. The power machine is not well maintained.
The motor loses its excitation due to the burning of the winding, and the change of the number of turns, wire diameter, and wiring method of the winding during maintenance, or the factor that the fault is not completely eliminated during maintenance, will also change the speed of the water pump.
4. The suction head is too large.
Some of the water sources are deep, and some of the water sources are located in the flat surrounding terrain, and the allowable suction head of the pump is ignored, resulting in little or no water absorption. You should know that there is a limit to the degree of vacuum that can be established at the water inlet of the pump. The suction head of absolute vacuum is about 10 meters high, while the pump cannot establish absolute vacuum.
Moreover, if the vacuum is too large, it is easy to vaporize the water in the pump, which is unfavorable to the operation of the pump. Therefore, each centrifugal pump has its maximum allowable suction head, which is generally between 3-8.5 meters. The installation of water pump should not be simple and convenient.
5. The resistance loss in the water inlet and outlet pipes is too large.
Some users have measured that although the vertical distance from the reservoir or water tower to the water surface of the water source is slightly less than the pump lift, the water volume is still small or cannot be lifted. The reason is often that the pipeline is too long, the water pipe has many bends, and the resistance loss of water flow in the pipeline is too large.
Generally, the resistance of 90-degree bend is greater than that of 120-degree bend. The head loss of each 90-degree bend is about 0.5-1 meters, and the resistance of every 20 meters of pipe can make the head loss about 1 meter. In addition, some users also choose the pipe diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes of the water pump at will, which also has a certain impact on the head.
