Preparations for Refrigeration Chillers before Installation

 

First, the preparation work before the installation of the refrigeration chiller

1. The chiller should check whether the components are complete before installation.

2. Select a suitable cooling tower and cooling water pump whose capacity matches the model.

3. The correct handling method is to use a stacker, a crane and a roller, and the machine cannot be dragged by force.

4. Do not place the unit upside down or sideways during transportation.

5. Do not choose to install the chiller in a humid, corrosive or explosive environment, away from steam, heat and exhaust fumes. The chiller must be protected from rain and moisture, otherwise it may cause electric shock or leakage.

6. The location of the chiller should fully consider various factors such as drainage, ventilation, noise reduction and maintenance space, especially to ensure good ventilation around the condenser of the air-cooled chiller.

Note: Assuming that the air-cooled chiller is placed in a closed space, it is necessary to equip the wall with an exhaust fan with an exhaust air volume not less than that of the chiller for heat dissipation.

7. The unit without casters at the bottom must be placed on a horizontal concrete base, and there must be a shock-absorbing rubber pad not less than 3mm thick between the unit and the concrete base.

8. Large air-cooled chiller equipment is best installed in outdoor space. On the one hand, it can reduce the floor area, and on the other hand, it is convenient to eliminate the heat emitted by the unit. When installing, please support the bottom of the unit with a bracket to make it ventilated and prevent corrosion.

Second, equipmentUltra low temperature chiller

Industrial chillers are divided into three categories: 1. Water-cooled chillers; 2. Air-cooled chillers; 3. Low-temperature chillers.

The water-cooled chiller must be connected to the cooling tower and the cooling water and chilled water inlet and outlet pipes, while the air-cooled chiller only needs to be connected to the chilled water inlet and outlet pipes and make up the water source, and can be operated after the power is turned on.

1. The diameter of the water pipe interface reserved by the unit is standard. When long-distance transportation is adopted, a water pipe with a larger diameter must be used for connection. In any case, the diameter of the water pipe cannot be smaller than the standard diameter of the interface, otherwise it will cause a pressure alarm and It poses a great hazard to compressors and water pumps.

2. When the user connects the water pipe, he must follow the direction of the inlet and outlet pipes shown in the illustration in the manual, and distinguish the cooling water and chilled water pipes. The wrong connection of the pipes will endanger the unit. You only need to ensure that the entire system is connected properly before starting to work.

3. Please install a bypass pipe in the chilled water pipeline equipment. When the chilled water outlet valve is closed, the valve of the bypass pipe can be adjusted to achieve the pressure of the Shuai water pump and prevent the evaporator from freezing.

Note: Do not change the chilled water bypass pipe into a water pipe, otherwise, when the chilled water outlet valves are all closed, the freezing pump will be damaged due to the high pressure on the outlet side.

4. When the air-cooled chiller starts to work, please pay attention to whether the rotation of the water pump and the exhaust fan is normal before starting to work.

5. Please pay attention to the flashing content of the pressure gauge when the unit is working: water-cooled high pressure is 15+2 kg/cm2, low pressure is 4+2 kg/cm2; air-cooled high pressure is 18+2 kg/cm2, low pressure is 4+2 It is normal when the value is kg/cm2. If the value is too high or too low, it indicates the omen of a defect or improper use. Please check it in time or inform the manufacturer to deal with it.

6. In order to ensure that the condenser is not easy to scale and can be used for a long time, please use demineralized water (or tap water) as cooling water. If a cooling tower is used, the cooling water should be replaced regularly.

7. The condenser and evaporator of the chiller usually need to be cleaned after a period of use (the cleaning cycle depends on the surrounding environment and water quality).

8. It is better to control the outlet water temperature of the unit at 7~12°C. Please pay attention when adjusting the thermostat: low temperature will cause some protection equipment of the unit to fail.

9. All electric control components and protection equipment of the unit have been strictly tested by the manufacturer. Users should not change or remove them by themselves when checking and protecting them. The forced operation of the chiller without protection will definitely cause great harm to the unit.
