The jacketed reactor heating and cooling system is a widely used equipment in laboratories and industrial production. Its main function is to maintain a constant temperature of the materials in the reactor during the experiment or production process to ensure the progress of the reaction and the quality of the product.

Structure of jacketed reactor heating and cooling system

The jacketed reactor is mainly composed of three parts: the inner tank, the jacket and the outer shell. The inner tank is a container for placing reactants and catalysts, and the jacket is a layer of space set outside the inner tank for circulating heating or cooling media to control the temperature of the inner tank. The outer shell is the external protection structure of the entire equipment. The jacketed reactor heating and cooling system combines these three structures tightly together to form a complete constant temperature control system.

Working principle of jacketed reactor heating and cooling system

The jacketed reactor heating and cooling system achieves constant temperature control through an externally connected circulating water or oil system. When heating is required, the heating and cooling system will heat the heating medium (such as water or oil) through the jacket circulation, thereby transferring heat to the reactants in the inner tank; when cooling is required, the jacket circulation is cooled to take away the heat. The jacketed reactor heating and cooling system is also equipped with temperature sensors and controllers that can monitor and adjust the temperature of the liner in real time to ensure that it remains constant within the required temperature range.
