The cooling water flow rate is small, and the energy consumption of the cooling system is low: evaporative chiller uses the latent heat of vaporization of water, which is completely different from the use of sensible heat by air-cooled condensers and water-cooled condensers to absorb the heat of refrigerant, and is better than water-cooled condensers It can make full use of the latent heat of evaporation of water. The fan energy consumption of the evaporative chiller is equivalent to that of the water-cooled cooling tower fan, which is only 1/3 of the air-cooled chiller; every 1kg of cooling water in the general water-cooled condenser can take away 21-25KJ of heat, while 1kg The evaporation of water under normal pressure can take away about 2256kJ of heat, so the theoretical water circulation of the evaporative chiller is only 1% of that of a general water-cooled condenser. Due to the reduction of the pressure and flow of the water pump, the energy consumption of the cooling water spray pump is about 1/10 to 1/4 of the energy consumption of the cooling water pump of the cooling tower system, which greatly reduces the operating cost.

2. Save water resources: Comparing the water consumption of the two, it can be found that the cooling water consumption of the evaporative chiller is only less than half of the water consumption of the cooling water tower of the water-cooled chiller, and the circulating water capacity of the evaporative chiller is small, and the loss of cleaning and changing water is not large. Therefore, it can be concluded that the evaporative chiller saves more than 50% of water than the water-cooled chiller.

3. The condensing temperature of the evaporative chiller can be as low as the ambient wet bulb temperature, which is relatively low among all units currently on the market. Under the condition of the same heat dissipation, the evaporative unit is compared with the air-cooled and water-cooled units, and the overall performance ratio (COP) is 4.2-5.2, which is about 40-60% higher than that of the air-cooled chiller and about 30% higher than that of the water-cooled chiller. 25-30%, the energy efficiency is significantly improved.
