Chiller is a commonly used temperature control equipment in the industrial refrigeration industry. It has the advantages of high cooling capacity, precise temperature control, and wide temperature control range, and is favored by many users. Different companies have different cooling temperature requirements for chillers. So what is the specific temperature control range of industrial chillers? What is the minimum temperature?

1. Normal temperature chiller (5 ~ 35℃)

This chiller uses conventional R22 refrigerant and can control the temperature between 5 – 35°C. In other words, when adjusting the temperature control range, the minimum temperature of the industrial chiller is set at 5°C and the maximum temperature is set at 35°C, which is the most commonly used temperature control range in the industry.

2. Medium temperature chiller (-15 ~ 0℃)

Water will freeze at 0℃. This is a common sense that everyone understands. So if an industrial chiller is required to provide sub-zero low-temperature refrigerant, can this be achieved? The answer is yes. The temperature of the medium-temperature chiller can be set at -15 ~ 0℃, and the refrigerant can be calcium chloride (salt water) or ethylene glycol solution.

 

 

3. Low temperature chiller (-35℃ ~ -15℃)

Low-temperature industrial chillers can provide chilled water below -35°C ~ -15°C. They are usually used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries to cool down reactor materials or condense and recover materials.

4. Ultra-low temperature industrial chiller (-150 ~ -35℃)

Ultra-low temperature industrial chillers provide low-temperature coolant below -35°C and adopt a two-element cascade or three-element cascade refrigeration system, so they are also called cascade industrial chillers.
